Bottom Line: Works almost perfectly....
For the most part the game plays (and looks) great. I'm assuming it looks the way it would on an XBOX in terms of framerate, color and resolution because i can't imagine it looking much better. For how good it looks and runs, it has just a couple of kinks:
The load times seem INCREDIBLY long sometimes, Lasting upwards of five minutes-- which is just ludicrous. I also experienced freeze-ups during the game (maybe once every 3-4 hours of playtime on avg), and considering the difficulty between savepoints it was frustrating beyond belief. I don't know if it was due to it being a BC game, but the disc had nearly no surface scratches or smudges.

Bottom Line: Ninja Gaiden plays very well compared to the Xbox. Downloadable hurricane packs all work and play as expected.
I won't pretend I can get passed the first boss in this game. The game is quite hard and me not being good at it didn't help. Just bare in mind that my review is of what I witnessed on the first level and the hurricane pack you can play after downloading it.
From what I saw, the game, sound and rumble seemed to work as expected. The game may have run at a slightly slower frame rate than the Xbox but I didn't notice it except in a few split second instances. The only difference I easily noticed is that the Xbox 360 can not play back the Team Ninja splash video without choking. Not that the splash video is related to the game play in any way however I do find this interesting considering that the processor in the Xbox 360 is many times faster than the processor in the Xbox.
As with all games played in backwards compatible mode, the gamma is jacked up a few notches in this game. On some games it looks better and on others it does not look so hot. This game holds the later scenario. The colors seem washed out so some picture tuning in your TV picture menu may be in order.
